Volunteer Positions Available
Credit Director - filled, thank you Jackie
Membership Director - filled, thank you Elaine
Newsletter Director - we need a volunteer to gather stories and photos, write stories and organize each issue of the Evansdale newsletter. The editor also sends the newsletter to the layout artist and then ships them to residents via the post office.
Belle Rive Signs Volunteer - update the Belle Rive sign (at 84 Street and 159 Ave.) once per month throughout the year.
Soccer Party Chair - we need a chairperson for the 7th annual Evansdale soccer party to be held in June 2011. The chair oganizes the committee, calls meetings and helps make sure this wonderful event runs really well as a celebration of soccer and our community league.
Children's Social Director - we need a voluteer to dream up and run children's program out of Evansdale Hall. Run one program or three programs, it's up to you. This has been very successful in the past. We can partner with other organizations or run programs ourselves.
Ways and Means Director - this person helps orgnanize grant applications and fundraising for the league. This is a very important role to play since it ensures we will have progams and facilites in the future!
Positions that include the name "director" are members of the Evansdale Board of Directors and become voting members of the board. This means you also play an active role in determining new policies and making decisions for the Communty League. Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at Evansdale Hall. The meetings are open, so come on down and attend a meeting if you are curious.
Positions that do not include the word "director" are committee members or chairs and are not members of the board.
