Poplar District Park Grand Opening - June 20, 2009
Poplar District Park is finally officiall open. It all happened at the Giant Community Soccer Party held on June 20, 2009 at the new district park in Belle Rive. The party was a huge success with people coming from all seven Area 17 communities: Evansdale, Lago Lindo, Northmount, Kilkenny, Londonderry, Steele Heights and McLeod.
