The Evansdale Rink is Open
Hi skating fans, Evansdale Rink is open, but subject to weather conditions.
Normal Hours:
- Monday to Firday 6 - 9 pm
- Saturday: noon - 9 pm
- Sunday: noon - 6 pm
You can check if the rink is open by calling 780-478-2577
Memberships are available at the rink. Look under the membership section for details on rates.
Congratulations Shawna and New Board Members
The elections were held at the Evansdale Annual General Meeting in October. Congratulations to Shawna Walsh, who is Evansdale Community League's new president! Most people in the community will know her as the tireless volunteer at nearly all Evansdale events, at School events and other events too! Also congratuations to Nelia Costa who is Evansdale's new soccer director. We owe a deep gratitude to Jason Manzo who was at the soccer helm for several years. Thanks to him and congratuations to Nelia our new director. How about helping her out by giving her a call and offering to me our new equipment manager or help in any way you can.
The ripple effcect of the election is that Jeff Muiselaar, becomes past president and David Dodge our recent past president becomes director of sustainability. He is apparently working on a program that could bring a solar system our hall.
Congratulations to Jen Mulcahy our new most capable secretary. Thanks also to all the volunteers who have stayed on to help make our community a better place: Elaine Sarac (membership), Angele Boake (treasurer), Richard Halls (hockey), Erin Plumbe (Little Kickers), Sherri Besette (Eaux Claires playground), Cindy Hoekstra (bingos), Jackie Nahayowksi (credits).
